Taking good men, and making them better!

Welcome
Speculative Freemasonry, as it is known today, was organized in 1717, but it had been practiced in secret for many years.   Freemasonry should not be confused with operative masonry which refers to the craft of stone masons.   While even scholars debate the origins of Freemasonry, what it has become is a fraternal organization where it's members must have a belief in God.   Freemasonry, in not however a religion!

Through the use of various symbols taken from operative masons, these symbols are used as a means to teach the principles of living a better life.   Faith, Hope and Charity are cornerstones of the craft.
